Griffin is now focusing on the objects around him and is discovering more and more around him. He spends a lot of time in his swing, mostly because he will not sleep in his crib during the day. I am not complaining since he sleeps in his crib at night.

Milestones
Everyday we stretch out our arms and legs and practice moving all parts of our bodies. Griffin also spends time on his tummy at least once a day. He is getting better at supporting his head up and is getting it higher each day. He often smiles when he does this, I am not sure if it is because he is so pleased with himself or if it is my reaction. Either way, he enjoys the time. Gramma bought a bigger mirror (another fun house mirror) that we use for our time on the floor.
Now that he reacts to each movement and is cooing and smiling it makes the time spent on the floor more enjoyable for the both of us. We often perform the floor routine at least twice a day. I think it is paying off, you can see the progression in height of his head below.

Daddy's Big Fishing Trip
June 20th-23rd, 2008
Jordan was invited to go fishing at West Coast Fishing Club in the Queen Charlottes (Langara Island) for a weekend. He caught 2 red snapper, and 1 of each cod, halibut and salmon. His catch is jammed in the freezer next to all the breast milk.
Jordan had a good time hanging out with the guys and went to a part of BC he had never explored before. Not to mention, he got to ride in a helicopter. I was so jealous. Now both Griffin and Jordan have been in a helicopter.
This was the first weekend I had with Griffin by myself and also the weekend I discovered Griffin had acid reflux. This presented many challenges and sleepless nights and days in the weeks ahead.

For the record, I was not over dressing Griffin, it was really cool out despite John's attire.
